The company: "J. Miquel Jane" wines are characterized by their distinctive personality, resulting from the combination of the knowledge and experience of 4 generations of wine producers and the best technology and techniques available on the market. This makes it possible to adapt to current tastes and trends, while still maintaining a strong commitment to tradition. Our philosophy is centered on the production of unique wines with the Designation of Origin “Penedès”, respecting our geographical identity with the peculiarities of its landscape and climate. the location: The estates where all the wine from “J.Miquel Jané” is produced are located in the municipality of Font Rubí (Alt Penedès, 9 km from the capital Vilafranca del Penedès). The cellar's estates are situated on a mountainous area with an average altitude of 500 meters above sea level. the ground: Permeable clay with good rain water retention predominates in our soil. The annual precipitation oscillates around 500 liters of water per square meter. the climate: The Mediterranean climate predominates in the area, although with more pronounced temperature contrasts as a result of the altitude. This unique combination favors the good synthesis of aromas, color and tonicity of our white, rosé and red wines.
